RAINBOW BRIDGE
"Just this side of Heaven is a place called Rainbow Bridge. When an animal dies that has been especially close to someone here, that pet goes to Rainbow Bridge. There are meadows and hill for all our special friends so they can run and play together. There is plenty of food, water and sunshine, and our friends are warm and comfortable. All the animals who had been ill or old are restored to health and vigor; those who were hurt or maimed are made whole and strong again, just as we remember them in our dreams of days gone by. The animals are happy and content, except for one small thing; they each miss someone very special to them who had to be left behind. They all run and play together, but the day comes when one suddenly stops and looks into the distance. His bright eyes are intent; his eager body quivers. Suddenly he begins to run from the group, flying over the green grass, his legs carrying him faster and faster. You have been spotted, and when you and your special friend finally meet, you cling to each other in joyous reunion, never to be parted again. The happy kisses rain upon your face; your hands again caress the beloved head and you look once more into the trusting eyes of your pet, so long gone from your life but never absent from your heart. Then you cross Rainbow Bridge together........"

Boomer stole our hearts while we were foster caring for him and we adopted him
as part of our family. Boomer was always with his best friend and sister

In Memory of Cyrus
I Stood Beside Your Bed
I stood beside your bed last night, I came to have a peep.
I could see that you were crying, You found it hard to sleep.
I whined to you so softly as you brushed away a tear,
"It's me, I haven't left you, I'm well, I'm fine, I'm here."
I was close to you at breakfast, I watched you pour the tea,
You were thinking of the many times, your hands reached down to me.
I was with you at the shops today, Your arms were getting sore.
I longed to take your parcels, I wish I could do more.
I was with you at my grave today, You tend it with such care.
I want to reassure you, that I'm not lying there.
I walked with you towards the house, as you fumbled for your key.
I gently put my paw on you, I smiled and said "It's me."
You looked so very tired, and sank into a chair.
I tried so hard to let you know, that I was standing there.
It's possible for me, to be so near you everyday.
To say to you with certainty, "I never went away."
You sat there very quietly, then smiled, I think you knew...
In the stillness of that evening, I was very close to you.
The day is over...I smile and watch you yawning
And say "goodnight, God bless, I'll see you in the morning."
And when the time is right for you to cross the brief divide,
I'll rush across to geet you and we'll stand, side by side.
I have so many things to show you, there is so much for you to see.
Be patient, live your journey out...then come home to be with me.

In Memory of Frankie
This is Frankie the Fire Dog and sadly he answered his "last call" in April of 1999. Frankie was our first Dalmatian and he lived a happy life for 11 years until spinal problems took him early. He was the mascot for two different fire departments and was featured in a lot of parades and other public functions.
He was best known for teaching children about Fire Safety. The children always remembered how to Stop-Drop and Roll and how to crawl down low under the smoke because Frankie showed them first.
Frankie, you were the best and we miss you a lot!!
See you at the Rainbow Bridge

In Memory of Coco
We adopted Coco from the animal shelter in May have 1994. He was about two years old when he came to live with us. There has never been a more loyal dog than our Coco. He was our protector and friend. The first time he "smiled" at us we laughed so hard. He looked like Elvis!! That is a smile that we miss. Coco's vet said he was the calmest and most personable Dalmatian she had ever come across. After seven years of being a part of our family, Coco had to leave us. He had developed Muscular Dystrophy and was in a lot of pain. We miss him terribly. There will never be another dog like him. We love you, puppy.

In Memory of Dally
With tears in our eyes & a hole in our heart we need to let you know that Dally passed away in his sleep. On October 1st Dally passed over the rainbow bridge and will now be in peace, no one will ever be able to hurt him again. His temporary care Mom & Dad did their absolute best to try and get him back to health, but Dally just was not strong enough. We thank his temporary care parents for giving him the few weeks of loving care and Dally will not forget them. We also thank those who sponsored Dally's expenses. Good bye little boy you will be missed and never forgotten.
In Memory of Baxter

In Memory of Annie
My precious wonderful girl has left us. She died yesterday morning at
around 2:00 a.m. It happened very quickly and I was there with her when
she passed away. I will love her the rest of my life and thank God for the
privilege of having known a soul that was so special and full of love,
loyalty and goodness. She gave me much more than I could ever give to her.
She lived to be around 12 or 13 years old. My wish to keep her was for an
eternity more, but her time with us here was truly a gift.
I will always miss her.
Valerie Kennedy
In Memory of Bandit
Bandit - You stole our hearts. You were so little and fought so hard. Now you are running and playing with other puppies without falling over. You will not be forgotten. We will see you at the Bridge.
Love, Diane, Rick & Denise.
In Memory of Daisy & Pearl
You ran a million miles together, licked a million pots, and gave us a million kisses and tones of love. You had long and charmed lives. It broke our hearts to say good-bye but we'd do it all over again. And your legacy is we did with 2 more Dals whose lives weren't nearly as lucky as yours until now.
Loved forever by Lauren & Dan Emery
